Aloha!
We hope your new year is off to a good start! It’s hard to believe that it’s already March, and Ukulele Source has been open for 16 years! We want to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers for making our dream come true. We cannot begin to tell you how blessed we feel to have so many new friends and the lasting friendships we’ve made. We just wanted to let our faithful customers know that we have extended our lease until the end of 2025, so we’ll be around a bit longer!

It's been a long time since we’ve seen our friend Herb Ohta, Jr. Good news! Herb will be back in the Bay Area along with Jon Yamasato for a St Patrick’s Day (March 17th) concert at the House of Hawaiian Music, 1835 Colfax St in Concord. The concert will start at 5:00 PM. The cost of the concert is $35.00, and dinner will be available for purchase. Prior to the concert, Herb will be conducting one of his classic workshops starting at 2:00 PM at the same location. The cost of the workshop is $30.00. Tickets for the concert are available from Eventbrite. To attend the workshop, contact Patrick (
patrick@landezasisland.com)

Another of our favorite artist, Daniel Ho will also be returning to the Bay Area after a long absence. Multiple Grammy winner Daniel will be performing at the Carriage House Theatre at Villa Montalvo on March 22 at 7:30 PM. Daniel will be performing some of his Kilauea classics along with his current repertoire of ukulele, slack key guitar, piano and vocals. Performing with Daniel will be Randy Drake (drums), Alex Pierce (bass), and special guest Keali’I Ceballos (vocals and hula). For tickets or more information, contact the theater at
montalvoarts.com.

It's almost April, and that means festival time! The Wesley Ukulele Band will be performing on April 20 at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival, April 21 at Nikkei Matsuri in San Jose’s Japan town, and on April 27 at the Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival. All performances are around noon but check their website as the date draws nearer for the exact time.
Again, thanks for your support throughout the years and we hope to see you at some of the upcoming events!

Smiley and Janet
